About the Project

Columbus Community Power Project

Kanin Energy and Tallgrass have partnered to develop a clean energy project near Columbus, Ohio. Tallgrass owns and operates the Rockies Express pipeline which runs east/west in the American Midwest region. Through the capture of waste heat from the Columbus Gas Compressor Station, the Columbus Community Power Project will use an Organic Rankine Cycle turbine to deliver reliable, carbon-free energy to the local electric utility, American Municipal Power.
